While our government leaders continue to irrationally blame a scapegoat film which was used as a distraction while pre-planned attacks were launched on U.S. embassies and consulates, it’s important to note where the American people stand. It turns out, they believe the right to free speech is more important than kow-towing to radical Islamic sensiblities. Paging Obama’s State Department:
Voters overwhelmingly rate protecting freedom of speech as more important than not offending other nations and cultures despite claims that the latest outbreak of anti-American violence in the Middle East is due to an amateur YouTube video that mocks Islam.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 72% of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is more important for the United States to guarantee freedom of speech. Only 15% consider it more important for the United States to make sure that nothing is done to offend other nations and cultures. Thirteen percent (13%) are undecided.
Given these results, it’s clearly time for our leaders to stop demonizing an idiot filmmaker and begin demonizing America’s enemies around the world who seek to censor our speech and kill our citizens. You would think that would’ve been clear from the beginning, but it hasn’t been.

I watched the video, poorly done, poorly scripted and idiotic. Yesterday, an Imam in Egypt burned a Bible. Don’t see any Christians and or Jews rioting and murdering do you? I guess that means that the Islamists are still children who do not have control of their emotions. Good post Justin.
